Pick a target role, answer five AI-generated questions, then spin the prize wheel. No saved job required—role selection is enough to start.
Dream Job Challenge is the only ClavePrep game that does not require a saved job to start. You pick a target role—SDE, product, data, finance, operations, and other catalogs the generator supports—then answer five AI-generated questions. Pass the set and the prize wheel is available. Fail a question and you still finish the five; the score reflects accuracy, not whether you abandoned the round.
The skill being trained is short-form retrieval under a tiny sample. Five items will not cover a hiring loop. They will tell you whether you can produce a relevant answer on the first prompt for that role family, which is closer to a recruiter screen or a take-home warm-up than to a system-design interview.
Use DJC when you know the role but have not saved a JD yet, or when you want a wheel-and-score session before you open Practice. After you have a posting, switch to Maze or Spin so items bind to that job’s skills instead of a generic role prior.
1. Sign in
DJC generates five questions from the role you pick. An account is how generation and score history attach to you.
2. Pick the role you will actually interview for
A mismatched role still produces questions—just not useful ones. Match SDE vs PM vs analyst the way the posting is titled.
3. Answer all five
Do not treat a miss as a reason to quit. The skill includes finishing the sample.
4. Spin only after the set
The wheel is a reward, not the training. Retrieval happens in the questions.
5. Graduate
When five role questions feel easy, save a real JD and move to Maze/Spin, then a Practice mock.

No. Pick a role and start. Saving a job still helps later games (Maze, Snake, Hangman, Spin) match a real posting.
No. It means you retrieved those items in this mechanic. Employers still run interviews, take-homes, and human screens. Use the company interview guides next.
